Here’s a shot from this morning just north of Austin.  This guy wanted to charge me initially, but by the end of the “shoot” he let me pet his face.  It’s all about trust.  Thanks for looking!

A shot from the Summer in Lake City, CO…maybe one of my favorites from the trip.  The rest can be seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dinger/sets/72157627263802832/

With this sleet we’ve been having here in North Austin, I was reminded of this shot I took almost exactly a year ago today, except it was snowing then.  Must be global warming.  Anyways, this is a rare sight around here, seeing this iconic symbol of Texas in snow.  Thanks for looking!

I thought I’d continue with the flower theme.  Here’s a shot of a Gerber Daisy from our front yard.  These are such gorgeous flowers, especially in light like this.  Thanks for looking!

Here’s a Columbine, Colorado’s state flower, my wife and I planted in our backyard last Spring here in Austin.  It’s a pretty flower, indeed, but somehow the effect is different than seeing them all over an alpine meadow.  Thanks for looking!

This was taken in June, believe it or not, after a very late season storm blew through the San Juan Mountains of Colorado.  This was taken on our descent of Handies Peak whose summit view is almost unparalleled in the San Juans.  The two guys pictured are Dave and Josh and I love how they contrast the immensity of the mountains engulfing them.
I long to be in this spot again and not here in Texas.
